Miss Universe 2011, celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Miss universe pageant, which will be held at the Credicard Hall, in Sao Paulo Brazil on Monday, September 12, 2011.

Ximena Navarrete of Mexico will crown her successor. There are 89 contestants participating in this year's pageant, surpassing the previous record of 86 in 2006.

The Kapuso Primetime Queen, Marian Rivera is set to do a weekly horror-comedy series with the working title "Bampirella" the first  featured story of  GMA's new show "Ang Spooky Mo".

The series will run for 4 weeks under the direction of Dominic Zapata.
